A lot of seeds in those cells. Will you separate them to have more starts or do you plan to thin them out to one per cell?

The sky is too grey and gloomy over here so I had to do something about that , got a 2 x36 T 8 flourscent light bulb and rigged it up this afternoon.
Thought I was going to fail.........

I use plain fluorescent bulbs also. I've compared them side by side with the plant/aquarium bulbs and could tell no difference. They do the job and that's all you can ask of anything.

I suspected this when I sowed my seeds ( no action ) but thought I give it a shot without the light bulbs first.

I use plain bulbs too. Cheapest I could find. Seen to work fine.

lol.... perhaps im just a perfectionist. when it comes to grow light's,

i only use the plant / aquarium bulbs, allmost 10 bucks a bulb....and at the present. i can only use 2' bulbs right now.. so i got to buy them twice.. when a 4' would work fine.. if i had 4 more inches. but this shelf thingy im using was built 4' wide. [ sucks for me ] my wife wont let me cut holes in both sides. because me using my redneck know=how,

i could cut 2 slits. one on each side and slide my 4' fixture in it, and have it poke out a little on both side's....... but she said '' NO ''.

I use bright white bulbs. Also called Daylite.

We call them Cool Whites over hear. They work fine over here.
just change them out every couple of yrs.
