His blend above that one uses Ripe.Bright I would assume.
Just have fun with it. Usually when just virginia is used it's bright leaf and the other kinds will say red etcHis blend above that one uses Ripe.
Well, I have the habit of inhaling and am spoiled on fine Javanese tobacco. I tend to shy away from the heavy N hitters.Just have fun with it. Usually when just virginia is used it's bright leaf and the other kinds will say red etc
I am heading to bed in a bit. Just go and enjoy it. More nicotine the less you smoke.Im just trying to gauge the nicotine.

Will do, goodnight.I am heading to bed in a bit. Just go and enjoy it. More nicotine the less you smoke.
It's been pretty tasty. Just mixed with some generic VA flue Cured. Probably somewhere between the red and the bright.Ive been curious about that leaf, sounds wonderful. Did you use Red, Bright or Ripe Va?
It's low N VA, not like the Ripe I have.Im just trying to gauge the nicotine.

Oh, so the N hit is coming from the Cameroon but we don't know the leaf position so it is what it is. Im reaching my limit at 30% Dark Fired with that generic Va. which is ok as a last smoke because a high dose of N makes me sleepy. It's been pretty tasty. Just mixed with some generic VA flue Cured. I should try mixing withe a little Samsun
I assume so, given as VA is a pretty well known low N variable, despite it's nebulous leaf position.Oh, so the N hit is coming from the Cameroon but we don't know the leaf position so it is what it is. I can always set the Cameroon aside to make cavendish later if its too strong for me. But I know what you mean, some combinations have an enhanced effect that I can't quite put my finger on. Also persistent tongue bite no matter how much dark/air leaf I add and this is to the point of N making the lungs heavy. I think a lot of the leaf available is a year out from being fully aged* which is where the harshness and bite are coming from. Some are more sensitive to it than others.I assume so, given as VA is a pretty well known low N variable, despite it's nebulous leaf position.
Even the Ripe VA doesn't tend kick my butt; I snus High N and I smoke mostly Dark Air, Fire Cured, and Burley (smoking a nice bowl of Burley right now ).
I'd be misleading you if I claimed it was the Cameroon with any certainty.
I smoked the Cameroon by itself, and it didn't get me the same way (I think, now you have me second guessing myself, I'll have to revisit it).
It SEEMS to me that there's something about the mix of the 2, but I am uneducated about the reason why that would be, and can't explain with any scientific foundation.
Yes! That's what I encourage. Find a starting blend, then adjust to your own tastes from there.wildly attempting it on my own
Couldn't have done it without you and everyone on this forum. Thank you all!Congratulations.
