I saw this limited edition bottle at supermarket today, it's a little related about this thread. To vodka lovers, a special desing vodka bottle (vodka itself may be special, I'll try it tomorrow ;)).

tajmahal.jpgHey I was in a book shop the other day that has kids toys, puzzles, games, etc.and seen these 3d puzzles of different land marks around the world and it reminded me of your post from the other day.they weren't made of wood but u could put a wooden box inside some of them ..depending on the shape for humidor .they had the Whitehouse and other well known landmark buildings.they could be pretty cool humidors.and probably 400 % cheaper?? Just thought it was an idea!!?!

I think it's a good idea for a special humidor. But these ones seem smaller to me as a humidor, bigger and more geometrical buildings may work better e.g. Pentagon, etc.

It's no problem, but if you want to take them out, you can hit the edit button and remove the pictures you don't want. Just saying. They don't bother me.

Yes BarG, I've tried regular Absoluts here too they're all good (except aromatic ones) but I think a "limited edition" may be different (or not, I'll see).

I think they are a nice vodka horribly over priced. I drink a local (inexpensive) brand and none of my friends can tell them apart in side by side taste tests.

Do you think your price is expensive ? Well, 750 ml Absolut Blue (regular, 80 proof (40%)) is 42 USD here. I think it would be around 20 bucks there.

I made a 1 day stopover there in 1983, while traveling from Riyad back to the States. I'm not sure if the workshop was in Incerlik or nearby Adana.

Bob
I spent from Nov 67 to Feb 69 At Incerlik if there was a shop in Adana I never heard of it and I spent a lot of time in the old Bizarre. I could of very well missed it as I usually found something new every time I went there. There was a Turkish store on base that carried a lot of brass and meerschaum pipes. I had a Edwards pipe in a square shape and i wanted a meerschaum in that shape and they said that they would have to send it out to have one made.
