Danish tobacco has sticks like maybe 1 per handful. It is deliberate to compliment the tobacco. Doug had permission form Peter to share some secrets and we talked for over a hour on the phone aging and what makes tobacco good. Do you want to smoke all stems no you don't. Will it hurt to have a few not at all. I experimented once and shredded just stem from the lemon. It was bland but had a unique woody smoky sweet taste. Only the wire part.

I see. I store my shred in mason jars and have noticed it ages quite well that way. How tightly do you pack it in? Do you force it in until you can almost fit no more or are you leaving a little play in the tobacco?

I will force them in and they do age well the plastic tubs aren't airtight
