I bought some scales from ezsell scales. an online seller of scales of all sorts. I paid about $30.00 for one that would weigh up to 60# and was accurate to .02 oz.

I bought a set of shipping scales and I bought a set off of ebay , produce scales .

Shipping scales can drift and one or two leaves will not change the scale until several leaves are put on it .

My produce scales are great . A half of a leaf will change the scale . They are accurate and I check mine with 5 pound sugar bags every now and then for accuracy .
But I always add extra leaf to make double sure I send the correct weight .

I checked out those produce scales on ebay. They have some really great prices and will weigh large amounts. I wish I had seen them before I got those shipping scales.

What I like about those scales is they have a rechargeable battery inside . They stay up a long time without being plugged into electric . Just plug into electric and recharge or use plugged in .
I turn mine off when I don't need them .
