Some good news today ...and one not so good.
#1 - The bid we put on the Alabama house was accepted. Wife and I are flying down week after next to physically inspect it . Have to send a check down tomorrow for the Earnest money . If that isn't exciting enough...
#2- we had a realtor of our own come to our house and walk it down and give us a very promising listing price of $25k more than my wife was willing to accept. Market here is picking up and the inventory we're told is low. We've done the major improvements in the last 3 years to almost guarantee a quick sale and turn the money over to the new house or at least pad the account a while .
#3- I got the phone call to go on the first call out on the next outage job which should last me through most of May and get me my hours to get my regular insurance back.
#4- Dad had his scoping of his lungs procedure this afternoon. Dr biopsied the one mass and chalked it up to a leftover infection from pneumonia. The other mass(es) we're still not so sure of . By the time mom got back to me ,dad was out of recovery (5:30pm)and hadn't eaten anything since 7:30pm last night so she was going to feed him and they both were in need of rest. She's supposed to call me tomorrow and fill me in on the rest. Keep him in your prayers please.
#5- I put in an application with resume to Huntsville Hospital as a Senior Carpenter for their maintenance dept . Crossing my fingers with that . Maybe things will fall into place like I need them to.
