Leverhead's 2019 Grow

Oriental, Eastern Turkey. I'm rushing around getting things done ahead of a day off. I'll see if Magpie can get better pictures of it tomorrow, it's a very pretty plant.

The thought has crossed my mind that I could collect some open pollinated seed before the other varieties mature. There's not ten people within a half a mile of here and I doubt that anybody within ten miles of here would grow tobacco, it's mostly cattle.

Magpie came by yesterday and took quite a few pictures, I'm sure that she'll post some of the more interesting ones. She did get a good one of the Bitlis, It's about 12-13" tall.

It's really a small plant, does it give a particular flavor/aroma ?
Most orientals are small, but this one seem to win the prize !

In cigarettes it has a "fuller" flavor with a pleasant "Turkish" after taste that my best description would be a little metallic, but not unpleasant.
