ive read blocking,pressing,bagging,,leave it hanging,e,t,c,

...what is your way of doing it,?

i have some bags pretty big,,,i could leave it in,,, they are pourous so the baccy could get some air,,,,but should i just shove the baccy in there,,and leave it,?

or put it in a plastic bag and then put that baggie in my pourous bags,?

or just take it out of the kiln when ready and let the hands just hang,?

what is your way of storing your baccy,?:confused::confused:

I myself believe that air curing on the stalk has worked good . I have some that is in 80 to 100 pound bales that seem to age a little differently and not as good as open air aged .

The dude I bought my seeds from just lets the whole stalk hang from his basement rafters till late winter/spring, when humidity allows him to handle the leaves. Then he boxes leaves up in shoe boxes with labels, ascribing their particular qualities (probably based on the labels the whole stalks were hung with).
