I most say that I believe that it look like you are right. Salt or Fertilizer in direct contact with a leaf make spot like that

The good thing is that those leaves end up as mud lugs anyway so it shouldnt matter too much if its only on those ones

I have done some thinking and realizing that I handle my plants a lot put together the idea that it is residual. The fertilizer is on the paper pots ... I am touching them and touching leaves. Some of my plants have already had the first two sets of bottom leaves removed and I have damaged the third set with handling. This is on my Samsun-Maden. The others that have damage in the plastic are just casualties from my handling the paper pots and not rinsing my hands off. Oh how I wish I would’ve foreseen this. However, I am sure this growing season will bring more damage once they’re outside and at the mercy of the elements.

Are you letting the pots get fairly dry before watering or do you keep everything constantly moist? A little water stress is good for plants - stimulates root growth and general hardiness. I generally don't water mine until they start to wilt slightly.

It sucks to give you questions rather than answers, but is the last photo of a dehydrated plant? Is it too hot? The one further back looks like it was too close to the light fixture, is that possible?

I do let the pots dry up and I try to stress them a little I also try to keep the lights well above the plants I don’t want them to get leggy but I do want them to stretch I do have one plant though that is just growing like crazy I can’t keep him out of the lights but he doesn’t show any signs of damage anywhere

That particular plant was not dehydrated and I keep my house at 68°F but that one leave it just started curling up and got dry and hard I finally cut it off last night so the plant would quit putting energy into it

View attachment 23425Some of my plants continue to get these spots and are yellowing. Just not sure what is up. Maybe the salt from my water softener? I’ve stopped spraying them. Also wonder about some type of nutritional deficiencies

I am wanting to say you sprayed too heavy amount of fertilizer on them .

Another thing , I bet they are root bound . I would bet that roots are growing up out of the soil .
Bigger pots and don't apply fertilizer to the leaves .

yes my pots are pretty small and my largest plants have roots coming through the paper pots I also have quit spraying them ever since I started noticing the spots on the leaves but I did mention in a previous post that the paper pots are saturated with the fertilizer is well and I have been handling them in then handling the plants which I Also believe has caused me a problem I can’t wait to get them all outside and in the ground

You're a brave soul. My experience with any text to speech software has been a dismal 95% accuracy. That itsy bitsy 5% requires a whole lot of copy editing.

I think they look fine. A few shriveled leaves...so what. Cut'em off n move on. They appear nice n green n perky. Some look like they are ready for the garden. Nice plants Levi.
