BarG, do you see the caliber of people were hanging out with ? I wish i'd found you guys back in the early 90's yall could have saved me alot of headaches. LOL

Yep. My caliber is about 0.22 LOL

J

Yea, it's fun when you find time to participate here. I get a lot of first hand knowledge and a lot of laughs to boot.

I prefer my 300 winn mag. John. Although when I grab my .22 my dog knows shes going hunting for retrieving. When I grab my 300 she stays home till i'm done, then on rare occasions she gets to track or sniff out in heavy brush.

I'll peruse that float tray thread Jitterbugdude. It's a little late for me as far as tray system goes.
["I says a month late and a dollar short"] lol

44 plants in the ground and 1 loss due to ate and chomped the whole plant. Not to bad[so far] It was one of my periques. Our resident peacock found my weed eaters staked out and ate em,Ha ha I know they werent the culprit. Bonner your still 100% from your end.[Why did I grow my seedlings] I highly recommend Bigbonners plants to any new growers having a rough start. They had a good full sun today and wilted a bit. I have my seedlings exposed to shade and sun now.Bottom water is new this year for me. 24 hours in hardining off conditions and seedling[sprouts have survived]. I'm going to expect a 40% loss for my seedlings due to a late planting for my clime. I won't be surprised at that. Compare that to bonners ready to plant now with roots from hell. Ha Ha. Somebody get their calculator cause I bought 36 plants and got 45 plants. and Bonner still needs to bill me. Plus a gallon bag of wicking soil and enough tobacco fertilizer to mix 8-10 gallons ,I tell you what ,and This aint no Bragg just Fact, These guys Ive dealt with on this site are people you continue to do buisness with over any one else. They take pride in what they do .I could hope to live up to those standards.

BarG, I sure agree, BB's plants are awesome. The plants shipped great, roots long and stout, and sitting purty in the field for a couple of days. BB's plants may overtake some I set a couple of weeks ago!

That makes three of us BB fans. If his seedlings don't make it, it will be my bad not his. They arrived here, 1000 mies away in great shape. Some credit is due to USPS Priority Mail. Next year I plan to see what varieties he is planing and to send him seed if I want a variety he isn't planing. If all goes well this year I should have plenty of seed to start what I want.

Well i'm not surprised to have 3 of us agreeing on that, I'm glad your 's fared as well as mine. I'm only 1555 miles, hehe. We give the postage their due. However they did go out of there way since I didn't give larry my po box #..At my small town luckily they know yor name. I asked them to look for it and sent email to main branch to correct. BB's plants are the onlyiest plants I have in my plot for the time being. It's a good thing for me that I'm not independently wealthy, I could get spoiled real easy.

The peacock just ate my weed eaters. Now that was funny.
He went straight for them. Hes been pickin fights with my dog over a deer leg. He scarfed those hornwoms before I could blink.

I think Bigbonner deserves alot of credit for that 1 1/2 row of fine looking tobacco varietys, 6 in all. The other rows contain all my little seed starts.
