Can't see where your jack stands are, but if they are on the lower control arms, the pre-load will not come off the torsion bars.. Stands must be on the frame to allow the suspension to unload.

My ond Man was a master mech. as well ( He was a truck driver as well). Thank God for You guys. Now it is so hard for You guys to make a living at it with all of the special tools. WWAAA! You got that right. I had to pay almost 10k, for a diagnostic computer to do the job right, and folks act offended when I tell them there is a $65 charge for me to hook that tool up to their car. I have lost jobs for being too honest/blunt. "My tool that will diagnose your problem properly cost me 10k, I apologize but I cannot use it for free".

no they were on the frame in center need a torch will have the guy down the street do it next weekend.I need some torches some day.unloaded torque rod keys they came off ok just couldn't get them out of a arm-11years of mi weather probably didn't help

MI ........ Say no more. I have had 5-7 year old cars show up down here that started in your area, falling apart from road salt rust.

Thanks Maks, I finally got the last of the patch picked and strung up, I hope the weather holds out for 2-3 more weeks so they can color cure, also fired up the old kiln , have ancient rustica, vir gold, and bamboo shoot in there for a month Amax style
