Well i must admit i see no way of success in using the tent for air cure of say Burley, not practical, thats what the shed is for.Yeah, you’re missing a very crucial element to air curing in a grow tent, ventilation. Air curing is done in one of two ways..sun curing and open air barns. You can cure it in a grow tent of course but you can cure it in a coat closet and get the same effect. It’s probably going to sweat a bunch and that’s liable to give you problems down the road. If you need to put it out of the way, hang it in an attic. If that’s not feasible, put your grow tent outdoors so that you can open the fly on it. If you’re not growing much, I’d recommend just a metal storage cabinet. It’s bound to have shelf brackets to suspend wire and there should be ample room. That can be set outside on a patio or in a garage so that the doors can be opened and you achieve some ventilation. Using a tent, you’re probably going to ruin both the tobacco AND the tent because it will become unsuitable for anything else. My two pennies of course.
My tent is only used for flue cure and large amounts of fermentation where humidity and temp can be controlled in what is basically a large are, as mentioned its 6 foot high and 4 x 4 base with a tie rack in the ceiling of it and a second tier shelf for loading either Virgina or tubs of air cured whatever the process at the time . cheers
