My guess is that this website originates in Turkey. I bought excellent pipes in Eskisehir for ≈€40. You can't buy a decent meerschaum domestically for less than $150 in Canada.

The site does look kinda cheap... I came by it looking for Meerschaum block for carving.

He is currently out. Not sure if he is going to get more, it would be worth asking, considering he is the only person I have ever been able to get raw block from.

I had just read earlier today that Turkey has had a ban on raw block export since the1970’s. This is probably why I am having such a hard time finding it.It’s a new adventure I am trying to embark on. “Pipe Carving/Making.

I use to hang out at www.pipemakersforum.com. I posted a few FTT and WLT links in some of my posts there but it’s been so long I can’t remember my screen name anymore. Pretty cool bunch of guys and you can keep current with suppliers for blocks, ebonite, tools, etc. and know where to get the latest deals on choice briar.

Oh, hell yeah, it’s a tight bunch. I wouldn’t start any crap over there for love nor money. You’ll find 2,157 pissed off dudes trying to wrassle and roll you in the dirt punching and gouging and trying to knee you in the nether regions but if you can behave yourself for a little while you’re golden.
