Start of our season

Hasse, do I understand the seeds in the water right. Do you only sow the ones that`s on the bottom of the jar? I saved some La Palma seeds, sowed them, but not one sprouted.
Do you sow the seeds directly after the sink test, or do you leave it a few days to swell before sowing?
Asking these questions, because I've got enough time to sow some more seeds.

Ben I do it in different ways. But never put energy one the ones how not sink..
You can put em in water just over the night or let it stay and start turning green (but I prefer taking em when they show a little white). I can tell that I should have done this to the grow -out's this season.. Very stupid of me...

You save 3-5 days in the start but I think they flowers exactly the same time's..

Waiting and watching them. Nothing yet but only been a few days could just be the luck of the draw with those particular seeds for me

There can be just very bad luck, but the other ones grow nice and I think you have very much to look at after all.
If I was you I would give em water and put over dom plastic..
I can always send you new seeds if you want..

I am 62 and have all the aches and pains and broken down bits of someone that has used their body a fair bit.

I am looking forward to a good harvest just have to baby my seedlings along and get them into the ground.

Last year was my first season and only grew some light cigarette tobacco and harvested 80 plants.

This time cigars and cigarettes going to be a heap of fun

Yes watering and have them covered with some plastic and watching and waiting.
And I agree I have a heap to look after and get into the ground then harvest and process so don't bother sending any more seeds I will I think have more than enough to keep me busy

I`m also not to happy with my seedlings. Corojo and Criollo didn`t perform very well, La Palma didn`t perform at all. All my seedlings are very uneven, will have to plant some in seedling trays this coming week end, while some are to small to plant, other are only starting to sprout now. But I still enjoy it.

I shall attempt to baby it along. Who knows maybe some others may start.

Bob that tobacco will not have problem with Hornworms.. Perhaps water-snails but not much more lol. If I found some Monkeys I can send you some.. LoL

Don't known but the water will be bad soon.. The only thing I can say is: I could have done this whit the grow-out's It would have been funny to see em grow..
