my first year growing and will only be doing burley. but i use stems from whole leaf to ground into flour and mix with leaf flour for nasal snuff. some add soda wash so the nictoine absorbs better but i do not. if you use some leaf it absorbs just fine. (atleast for me) now that i got my cigar leaf i am interested to see how the flour will turn out from these stems

The stalk is the vertical shaft (½ - 1½" thick) from which the leaves grow. The stem is the central vein of a leaf. This particular thread is about uses for stalks.
