Picked up this Stefano Santambrogio in my travels today along with some Seattle Pipe Club Mississippi River special reserve flake which interestingly is made in Richmond VA? Or so the tin claims.

Yes, it is indeed made in Richmond, VA by Sutliff.

A few months ago I pressed some straight Ripe Flue Cured Virginia leaf and jarred the blocks. I wanted to see what the effects would be over just plain leaf. I ran across the jar and decided to smoke some. I’m smoking it in a TV churchwarden. Really wonderful pure Virginia.

Mixed up a VaPer last night. First I blended equal parts lemon, bright, red, and ripe Virginias. Then mixed 20g of that with 9grams of St. James Perique. I had originally done 16:9 but found the perique a bit strong, loving it now though. It's a bit sweeter and more complex than my 5:3 version using only ripe leaf Virginia. It was good enough Im considering another bowl . The picture is from when I tried it at 16:9
