Nothing fancy. Testing punche tobacco I grew this year for the first time to see if it's suitable for gifting to indigenous elders.
Smoking half a leaf in my home made poplar pipe knocked me on my ass LOL. It was deceptively smooth and that's from someone who has never been a smoker.

When it's a little chilly outside and too early to feel like bundling up for it, the only option is an aromatic that doesn't make the house smell smoky and leaves your hair and face smelling nice (I've received compliments before). I can see outside from the kitchen table so close enough, right?

Just smoked a taste test bowl of homegrown Japan 8 in a Mushin meerschaum. This was flue-cured as their was no way it was going to get sun-cured around here especially this year. Wasn't sure how it would be as it came our pretty dark. Actually it is not bad at all. Sweet, floral, a bit of incense. Not bad just smoking it strait so I think it will do just fine in blends.
