I'm smoking Wild Horse, a burley/Oriental from @deluxestogie's 90 More Pipe Blends. From the whole leaf sampler and Bob's books i made roughly twenty blends for myself. This has added to my pipe smoking so much as I had been a mere consumer before and now I have the tools to be more independent. FTT was also indispensable in this process, so thanks again. Cheers!

Now I'm smoking a blend of my own design called Shipwrecked, it's:

Virginia bright 8/16
Dark air cured 2/16
Krumovgrad 2/16
Tennessee dark fired 4/16

I hand shredded the leaf and cased the blend with @deluxestogie's Mild Aromatic Casing recipe off of the key forum threads. It's smooth as hell and if I knew what an all day blend was I would tell you this is it. In any case it's worth trying.

A pinch of flue cured red VA, a pinch of Samsun, and a half pinch of perique. And now there's another blend to work on. A smidge less perique and Samsun next time, maybe add a bit of burley to see what happens. Nothing was cased. Time to pour another cup of coffee and get to shredding

I'm smoking Dune Blend from @deluxestogie's Blend Your Own recipe book. It's 14 parts Krumovgrad and 2 parts perique. I'm really enjoying it, I'll try and compare it to Marudnik, another blend heavy on Krumovgrad. I'm smoking a Mastro Geppetto Rusticato.

That one is a Woodland Sprite clay pipe, the version with a straight stem is listed as Weckmann #44. They're nice tester pipes but the bowl is deep enough to get about a 15 minute smoke although it's narrow enough that I've been using a spent 5.56 case as a tamper

Trying out a variation of Bob's blend, Basma Pastry Party in a Bewlay I got off ebay that looked like it had barely been used. Pretty good, next time I'll use the Samsun that I stoved a bit and maybe a little more VA and less burley to see what happens. So far this is like if a spicy cigar had a baby with a codger burley blend
