Absolutely! It's going to be really good. If it's too wet in autumn they grow black mold, but yours look fantastic.

Green leaves that freeze in the field seldom lose their green. Those look okay to me.

They are are probably OK, but bland. Most of the alkaloids in tobacco are water soluble, thus flavor, aroma & nicotine probably have been washed away.

That depends on where you live....

I just made cavendish from the dregs I let hang from last season. Some of it was suckers that had resprouted and I picked very early spring. I am very happy with the result and I think I’ll probably do the same this year.

There has probably been zero" of rain in Saskatchewan since October though, so there's been no washing.

yes i did. And as you predicted they were fantastic... well i could taste the potential. They had a slightly, but not in a bad way outdoorsy taste. However after a few days in the kiln they smell like perfect creme brûlée. They are going to be good. I believe that outdoors taste will air out fast.
And yes you are also correct. I believe the fire ban started in late july and went into december last year so ya... no rain at all.

Yes most of this was suckers that got really quite big as well.
