LOL' Thanks Indianamac. I got her in the bag. I have over 300 plants out front now and plants all over town. The pics are poor due to light, but I got the pics. of the leaf standing proud that You can see on top. Going to see some nice sticks from You with webmost. Looking forward to seeing new Guys here on it. We got another roller in it now. AZD. I shot the plants with F2G and My mix today then the garlic mix after. WORKS GREAT. Mad-

Another strange thing I did today for My plants was, I spread three pick up loads of pea gravel around the plants. The sand was building up and giving them a little raw time at the bottom of the plant. It will help with the heat on the ground and keep the sand from lifting in the wind. Most folks are taking rocks out and I am putting them in LOL.

Can't you use flamerifle and burn them hoppers down ?
No, the only thing to do is poison and My trick spray, The leftover garlic gets spread over the yard as well. Thank God we don't get ear wigs or aphids here. When I worked the farm and ranch, We got aphids and We bought six gallons of lady bugs to spread. It was cheaper than spary then. Don't know where or if You can still get them for crops. But they stay all year with no aphids left. If You don't use poison they will be there next year as well.

That must be an Albuquerque sort of thing. Nowhere else for them to go.

The experience of many gardeners in more verdant lands is that purchased lady bugs vanish forever in a few days to weeks.

I never heard of aphids here in Alb. But in east NM and west Tx. where corn, Milo and such grow, aphids would overcome the crops. The lady bugs had plenty to stay for. Most of the crop feilds go on for miles. That was where I gave up one grow plot. It may have aphid problems now, if every one else is getting them. I agree with You on this area with them. Not much for them to stay for. I seen three this year so far.

It made it to 113 deg. here so far today. The plants went to the droop, So I watered early. I may need to do the rag on a stick trick to keep them cool with sun as well. Bamboo sticks per plant with a rag on top to blow around. ( Like How BrownThumbs plants look) only with a rag on top. A little shade and a little sun. So what do You think of that PO Green?

I have no proof but I suspect that tobacco grown in high heat sucessfully would be high in nicotene. Am I full of shit? It seems like the hotter it gets the stickier my leaves get.

Over the past three days we have had a massive cicada hatch. The numbers are far beyond anything I have seen in the 34 years I have lived in NM.
Loud in the morning and early evening, and no big crop of birds to eat them.....maybe we should have a cicada stir fry and grasshopper roast.... :)

I love it when You guys get in My grow! Now I am rolling for webmost, and needed a break. So Now it is with You. THANKS! I still have them at bay. They hate garlic and soap. I am thinking on bringing out the deep fryer, and popping off the wings and back legs for a roast to sell. LOL. They are relentless and I think the cats here teach them what makes You mad. (LIKE I CARE)! BarG "it is on with that"! Do You want some? I will get them to You. LOL Now: Desertpipe- I have some very- very nice bucket plants that would love to be on each side of Stag. They will come with garlic spray and a cart to bring them in at dusk. I would love to invite You and many more to webmost birthday contest as well. ( I may roll a cigar pipe to send). If You wish- I can do a cigar roll class as well? However,I smoke cigs. as well as pipes and cigars. Yes the chew is in the mix. HA HA . You Sir, seen when I came to the shop. WWAAA .What a mess for 53.
