Now the snow is gone, but maybe only temporarily :)
Have planted the four varieties I will grow this year, but only to check the germination, and the first sprouts have appeared after 7 days.

This year it will be:
Virginia Brightleaf
PY KY171 DAC
Tofta
Prilep

Damn, the snow really clears fast down there. What kind of themperatures are you having? I Guess its kind of a sea climate?
Good luck with the grow!
Thanks, you too. I live inland, but it still counts as the west coast here, so it turns around fast. This particular winter has been quite cold and we have had snow for quite some time. Unusually long. Photo from right now .

Then I replanted all the plants. In total there are 264, of which I intend to grow 117, I have 77 as a reserve and the rest I give away. This year it will mainly be Virginia Brightleaf, PY KY171 DAC and Tofta that I grow. All these give a very good snus. Planning to put the plants out in the open at the end of May/beginning of June, all depending on the weather and weather forecasts. But the question is what will happen to my 77 reserve plants. Will I throw them away? :ROFLMAO:

Worked up the tobacco field with the tiller for the first time now. Since I apparently have to weigh, measure and time everything, I can report that it took exactly 33 minutes, and completely non-stop :D now it will soon be on a load of cow manure, then milling a couple more times, driving up rows, laying down water hoses, and then plant everything out at the end of May/beginning of June. To be continued .... ;)
