I usually buy bigger cigars in the store because they seem to be more worth it, but rolling my own, I've realized that I just like narrower gauge. But long. Long is good.

I would have to agree, though I don't roll my own (yet).

I tend to enjoy narrower smokes because I find the too-large ring gauges uncomfortable to smoke and I feel a bit sick afterward.

My favorite vitola is a lancero. I wish my boss wouldn't keep giving me 6x60s to try.

And the beauty of a lancero is that it still lasts a long time.

I find a lancero doesn't really dangle right from the mouth for the first half hour. Too much leverage against the teeth/lips, until it gets down to corona-larga length at least. I like that it doesn't give me a sore jaw though, even if it bruises the front top of my palate. I'd prefer a panatela or a lonsdale, I reckon. Of course those two are way out of fashion and the lancero never goes out of style.

I like it when I find these sizes on the market. .. not something I've been searching for but, by chance so don't go search them all out. or, do it if you must.

Picked up two more molds and some tobacco today from wlt. HAD TO buy the 52 - same tramp stamp as my 46. Both straight parejo molds. Was after a 38x8 and didn't see one after searching the shelves, but the 36 will make cadetes and other factory variations of panetelas, so left happy. The 52 will do petit edmundo, discretos, edmundo, laguito no. 4, and canonazo.

Looking forward to rolling with these.

Still two walls full of molds there.

Thanks Don for the good deal.
