A pin through the middle might make it burn like it should . If I can find one I will give it a try .

I made one from a wire coat hanger for some tight factory cigars one time. Make a loop in one end to hold it by.

i read in a book that some people cut a strait piece out of a coathanger longer than the cigar they roll anb place it in the middle of their bunched up tobacco before rolling. after it is rolled up you remove the wire and your cigar won't be so tight. sometimes even using even more than one. it sounds like cheating but might help if all the small diameter cigars are tight.

With a Lieberman-type device, the density of the cigar (at any particular mat length setting) is determined by the quantity of filler placed in the fold. Too much: no draw. Too little: soft cigar. If you draw on the cigar as soon as you complete it, I'm sure you will develop a sense of how much tobacco filler is just right, after 3 or 4 tries.

It took Me practice(ALOT) to get it. Rolling anything, even sizes is the same. My Wife ask Me to roll her a small cig. and I vapor locked due to practice. It is all in the hand and practice I think. I blew it alot of times. Good post.

LOOKS GREAT! can't wait to see em with the tarps on. Maybe some food grade silicon spray on the rollers befor Ya tarp em? Good call on the paint and esp. the work You put into them. The rollers look like they will last for decades. And if it fell off My truck will always work.

The roller parts look solid but there is a rod that goes through the roller and let the outside pipe turn freely when rolling a cigar .

Look great. There is a bit of a learning curve to the hammered paint. A fairly heavy finish coat, not quite enough to make the paint run, will give more of the"hammered" or dimpled appearance. Practice on a piece of scrap first, those are too nice.

There is no two exactly the same but I am getting close .
If shipping was not so high , I would send one out for some one to try it out . BUT THEY WOULD HAVE TO SEND IT BACK OR PASS IT ON to some who would send it back sooner or later .

Me Me..pick me...

I wonder if you shipped it with the receipient paying the shipping if that would work. You might be able to get one to circulate around the country. Build a wooden crate for it for durability and set some rules such as 3 weeks posession and then ship it to the next guy ( that pays shipping)

3 weeks might be a little long maybe 7 to 10 days , I don't know .

The receiver would have to be well known and have been a member with a lot of post on FTT .

Who all would be interested in this ?

Rule
1 No cutting holes in wife's favorite table
2 Pay more attention to wife than roller I wouldn't want to cause a divorce .
3 Keep under lock and key
4 Don't tell knucks :p

I don't think there would have to be too many rules made up Just the receiver pays shipping and we keep track of who has it and how long each person can keep it .
Sorry but we would have to keep it in the USA . Shipping outside the USA would cost too much .

If you could create a wooden shipping crate that had a removable panel the size of the roller, then each recipient could just remove the roller, remove the panel, then set the roller into the opening in the crate. Reverse the procedure for shipping to the next person.

I would like to see Germany along with other parts of the world . But I will never have the money to do so . I just watch it on TV .

Plywood is in the back of my truck to make a crate . It is thin but I think it should hold up . Box may be made tomorrow If I get the time . I need to check with ups and see if it will ship same as a cardboard box .

I also installed new type of material tonight . It was called top gun. It is for making cabs for ATV's and convertible car tops . It is thin and very strong .
There is not very many colors to choose from . I thought that If I could silk screen the KY Wildcats Basket ball on the blue one then every die hard basket ball fan would want one .
Who would want a hog or gator on there anyway
I will roll a couple tomorrow with the new material and see what happens .

I plan on when they get it they won't want to turn it a loose and I could raise my price

Seriously That can be done . I would ship out another one , but the one who bought it would have to pay for the one sent to the next guy or gal on the list .
I will pay first shipping and it looks like its Jitterbugdude .

How many days does everyone think is fair for a person to keep the roller ?

WOO-HOO!!!... Thank You Larry!

As for how many days to keep I would think approximately 1 week should do. It might take a day or two to buy supplies to make a table or cut a hole in the kitchen table, then a day or two of rolling and a day or two to pack it up and get to the post office.

If you are paying first shipping then maybe that's how we should proceed. The guy that sends it out pays to ship it to the next guy and so forth.
