Your middle picture, sixth cigar from the top: it's shape looks just like a recorder (the musical instrument), because of the location of the slight bulge on the right side, and then how it tapers down, like a mouthpiece!

Writing the cigar blends on the paper they're sitting on. .. looks like something I'd do. .next minute the kid's run past..knocking thm off...mixing up everything you just spent the last hour or so doing. ..and they still will have no idea what the fuss is.hahaahaaa

The biggest pain for me is consistently having the binders and fillers in proper case when I just want to roll a couple.
I still have a lot of Bezuki wrappers and several lbs. of 2 yr. old kilned plus a coulot of kilned from last year along with the dom seco and viso. I will try and give a production run after learning how to use the roller and post the results with pics.
I have never rolled more than 6-7 at one time. Usually 1-2. I'll allow a day to bring a quantity into proper case and set the time aside to do a prodution run.

Re: Members only 50% off Flue Cured Types (all of them)

If You get to use BigBonner's roller on the baccy, Roll to 3/4 and stop for 30 min. Then finnish the roll-- "NO MOLD NEEDED" ! Then Wrap it the same with Your choice of FTT (or Your wrapper).

That would make it slower than my hand rolling.;) I may need to whup together a 6-8 cigar mold.

Robert Ruark was a wonderful writer and had some great African safari adventures. Also his book "The Old Man and the Boy" is a classic. A lot of good hunting and fishing stories. Jack O' Conner was also an excellent writer of outdoor stories. Patrick F. McManus wrote humorous stories of outdoor adventures, he wrote the humor column for Outdoor Life and Field and Stream for many years. His fictional character, Rancid Crabtree, will flat out crack you up.

This is my favorite collection of Outdoor short stories: http://www.amazon.com/Moss-Mallards...4005&sr=8-1&keywords=Moss,+Mallards+and+Mules

i used to read the stories at the end of the outdoor magazines all the time. i can't remember the names of all the characters and get some of his and heavies stories mixed up. i remember bears breath and owl something. that made me think and say crap i think my brain is feeling like my broken down back with that ciatica nerve thing going on. did you ever start reading from the first of the last page first? i liked the old how, where to regional sections but can't remember which magazine it was ,outdoor life or field and stream. i really liked the fisherman magasine that came out weekly and fur, fish and game. they were both based on places that you could get to in a days time or two and had a lot of good info. sorry i am going off topic. will try to be better in the future.

I am trying to upload a video of Larrys machine but no luck so far. More later. It works like a champ though and can crank out some cigars. You still have to go through all the preparatory work prior to rolling such as destemming, proper case, wrapper and binder prep. But when that is done it is fun to use. I used it to apply the wrappers also and temporarily swicthed the hex bolt for adjusting the mat tension with a thumb screw for fine tuning. This machine would be Really nice in a permanent setup including a work top on either side and a drawer or 2 perhaps for prepared leaf storage setting optimal ease at chair height so you can sit in comfort.
