That is my kiln for curing my tobacco. It is a laboratory oven and it has been used for finding the dry weight of grass I will put a ranco thermostat controller on it.

Finally got round to watching your last vid. If you have the space just harvest it all. Sorry can't help with plant identification. But mate that's a huge crop. Hope your mate on the camera is helping as that's a lot for one fella

Congratulations on your season. Your grow log was very informative and it was a pleasure to follow along during your growing season. The NZ logs helped keep me fired up during our winter. Thanks for your posts.

Well i have just finished threading my last lot of leaf.I had a count up and have threaded 7050 leaves will post some picks later on today. Still have all my seed head bag's on and will leave them as long as possible 70% have gone dark brown. Is it alright to just cut the flower head off with the bag on and hang up in my stable or will they rot.

It depends on humidity. It is VERY dry in my house. I just put the whole heads in a brown paper bag and shake it now and then. Works fine. Effin gazillion seeds which I screen, bag and refrigerate. If it is damp there I suggest letting them hang in open air till really dry.

That will work fine for the seed. Be aware that if rodents can reach the hanging seed pods, they will eat through any bag, and devour most of the seed.

You don't have to derib before kilning. If you want to spread the work out, you can kiln it and derib as you need it. If you plan to sell or gift it, you will have to keep the rib intact. (sorry, US law, it may be different there.)

In NZ you may manufacture up to 15kg per year from plants grown on your own property, specifically for your own use, not for dispensation to any other party.
The customs exemption for home growing is clear about that, but by my reading it's wording is somewhat ambiguous (manufacture vs growth) about whether you may give away whole leaf (you certainly couldn't sell it in any form)
