You're on your way now. Nothing but the easy stuff left now. :D Kick back on the porch with your beverage of choice, smoke some cigarettes, and watch them grow. I bet it's nice being you right now.
Best of luck bro.

I like the two tone job.
What Satin black did you use. That is a PITA to spray and look even.

Try to find the formula for "Hot Rod Black". That's what they call it in the magazines. I never got to mix or spray any though. I quit painting before it got popular. I remember black lacquer primer hot rods before the EPA forced high build Urethanes on everybody. I'd love to see the formula if you can find it. I never could get the look with just flattening agent.

What a shame. In what way was the fertilizer wrong?

Bob

I failed to read the whole label. I knew I was nitrogen deficient, 3rd year same patch. Tilled in some granulated I had sitting around.

Big mistake, 60% of the available nitrogen is Urea based.

I basically poisoned them without realizimg

We had a decent rain, hopefully washed out some of the urea in the small garden. I plunked in the leftover starts I had, about 40, in the hill patch. Maybe they will do something.

A real tractor came into my ownership this weekend. Now the hunt for attachments begins.

Nothing fancy, but 3cyl 4wd 25hp diesel. As is my custom with Any piece of new/used equipment, I spent the day changing all fluids and filters so I have a good base line to start a maintenance schedule.

Nice! In my experience a disc harrow is a waste of time and money for a small tractor. The ones small enough for thr tractor to lift are too light to penetrate the soil. A single row cultivator is cheap, lightweight and pulls itself into the ground by the blade shape. It busts the ground up great. Follow with a tiller or if on a budget for awhile a rock rake will break up the clumps, pull out the rocks and roots and is affordable. Also the rock rake is versatile and great for keeping up a gravel driveway. The tiller is the ultimate but you might need to work up to the cost.

Also the Rototiller hates big rocks, trust me. Busts the hell out of it.

Thanks guys. The simplicity sold me (and the deal).

In the US, it is a Nortrack 254. Marketed by Northern Tool.

Seems it is marketed in around 40 countries under various names.

25hp 3cyl diesel 4wd with diff lock, 2speed pto and full manual controls. Simplicity at its best.

For what I will need it for, should last a very long time.

I'd like to say Kubota, Deere, mahindra, etc, but not in the budget. All the features I wanted at a bargain price and I can add accessories as they are affordable.

Bonus, a friend has a bunch of 3 point attachments, including tiller, that I can borrow as needed until I get my own.
