That was the worse thing about whole leaf. the Powermatic shredder and stuffer has revolutionized the hobby.

You got the hobby part right.

Otoh, it is the ONLY hobby I have ever taken up that will SAVE $$$ instead of spending lots for alittle happiness.

Yesterday turned out to be an expensive way to meet new friends. I was able to put off the powermatic shredder until Knucks brought his for me to try. Order is placed and i will not pick up a knife or scissors again to shred leaf. :)

That was quick. Hey Fm, put me on the payroll. lol.

what kind of car you got in the shed.?

Bama is a man of many talents. I got to see some carpentry, mechanics, machinist talents, wood working, and some unique solutions. There's projects all over. I was very impressed.

Rain all day today. Guess my afternoon will be a lazy one. Going to have a couple cold ones, shred up a hand or two of each variety I have cured, and watch football.

Sounds like my day. I was rescued from having to carry water to the wrapper plants I relocated. Roll Tide. I'm playing around with a bunch of Burley in the basement that I brought in for stem drying. Some of them I'm pulling out of the pile and letting them dry singly, the stems on them are still pretty moist. I'm also playing with the Alma Ata 315 to get it in bags. Oh, the smell is heavenly. If it smokes like it smells, it's a keeper. It was the heaviest producer of all ten of my Orientals this year, and the most aromatic.

I hate to hear that about the Alma......put me down for seed. That continues my trend of orientals here. I wanted big heavy producers. Fewer plants. I am finding i really like the flavor and smell of the orientals. More work for next year. My FC Bursa smells amazing (even better than the izmir you tried (if that is possible). Can't wait to try it later.

Maybe the last grow pics of the year. Almost done. The silver river is finally flowering good. Seed heads are amazingly huge. Pushing 8ft.
