Spent Saturday at a local "trade day" and came across an " ol'boy " with Castor seeds; listened with interest to the old man's tales of LIFE, and how to plant them (leave the husk on the bean they germinate better) and departed his booth with a couple dozen seeds for next year. The cost of seed was a dollar of my money and 30 minutes listening to him explain every antique/vintage piece of farm stuff.......hand tools I had never seen, etc that he had on his table.
I wish more young people would take time to appreciate the education that can be had by simply listening to our elders.
Good stuff.
