I think pointed ends like that would actually make what I do with capping easier than with the rounded ends I have now.My Majestic forge is in route. Soon I will be able to forge out larger ones with out bugging my buddies. Updates to follow!
I usually always end up using one of my Japanese chef knifes - Santoku shaped. I would very much be interested in one if you make more.
