For humidity I used a Auber humidity controller hooked to a exhaust fan with a auto dampener it worked pretty good.

Looks Good, Just make shire the main rib has No moisture.
I removed the main stem after curing. Ill kiln them that way. But they run 24hrs at 165 degrees. The stems were really brittle. Hygrometer said 65% but I suspect bad reading. There was no way it was that high. I ordered what I hope is a better one

.. . Frost warning for Tuesday so I'll have to cover them. Damn that came up fast.
It did, wow. I'm maybe 400 miles north of you and I got no frost forecast for at least a couple weeks.

I push my luck. I have been burned before though. Tobacco doesn't freeze until around 29°F, so if it's forecast something like 34° with a frost warning, I ignore it.

But follow my example at your own risk. But the way I figure is, unless if you're planning on moving south or to lower elevation, you will benefit from going through the psychological experience of pushing that frost limit.

Also, if it's above 32°, and it's snowing, pfft.

Even Amarillo is getting a frost warning. Alberta in the clear.

I have the opposite experience. If the forecast is for 35°F low, I often measure 28°F outside the house. When and at what temp tobacco will be damaged by cold depends on the lay of the land (microclimate) as well as the presence or absence of breeze.
