The deer just mowed down my wife's tomato plants and beans.
I bought her some tomato plants and she replanted the beans

No not pond muck. land that hasn't seen day light and was just sandy loam. I need to include a before and after on clearing this property in the back 10 acres.

I started planting deer plots every where I clear, It still wont keep them out of my front garden, I haven't had fresh beans or peas in 3 years, getting frustrated, may have to invest in a solar fence.

Dang deer still got in and had a feast. They get in and can't get out . He left a million holes in my plastic mulch.

Don't it make you wish deer season started earlier. I gave the game warden a key to my 300 acres just in case any one thinks there is no season, he don't have to walk or climb gates. lol.

One of my neighbors a mile away had one that shot a blast like ashot gun. I remember hearing it all the time. She is passed away but was the best cook. she had a huge cast iron stove and I used to love to go work over there. I would trade work for Blueberries and then give half to a neighbor in trade for coblers. The good old days. whan a tornado ripped the roof off their barn I would charge $50.00 an hour and give then the rest from the ins. after I fix it.

That is ,any one will work. shock em. however I have kept them out in a friends garden I made for him with a solar fence, It has to be high enough, just raise wires to max height.

You need a solar powered source to shock em and plastic posts to wrap wire (nylon wire is tough as nails) they are usualy only 4-5 ' so hope your deer don't jump too high. lol.
It will usually keep them out. when friends come over have them test.make sure battery is charged.

That's not what the article says. The "3D" fencing refers to a lower outer fence that will require a deer to jump it, but also a taller inner fence that is close enough to the outer fence that a deer does not have room to accelerate to jump the taller one.

Sounds good to me. I like a little heat in just about everything I eat. Can't stand the heavy heat like ghost pepers. I'll never understand why folks want to burn their lips off. Just plain crazy to me.
I dry and grind them up. Super hot Peppers taste different . Blending pepper dust is no different than Baccy.
Eating a whole Devels Tounge is plain Stupid. I have done it
blended and in a shaker it can be a mellow heat with all different flavors.

Once the house is done I plan on having a big garden and I aspire to make it look as good as yours.

I really like that setup. Looks clean. No chance for weeds in there. How much did the plastic roll cost ya? Can't wait to see those big leaves flopping in the wind.
