well i made it thru the hurricane,,,,and what a spectucale it was,,,,i got a 60' sycamore tree in the front yard. that ive never trimmed. it has huge branches going from the bottom of the trunk to the top..
well that tree was doing a hula dance.. that night. the top was twisting one way and the bottom was twisting the other way. the tree itself stayed firm. not the first sway at all.... but it's branches was dancing..
my stakes i allways put my bacca on did excellent....i may have had 5 plants lean over. but they were on small stakes. and with 3'' of rain im sure they loosened up. so i can live with that.. but my secure plants didnt wiggle a bit,,, true i had some leaves stripped. and scattered everywhere,
my greenhouse stayed put... i thought it was at anytime gonna launch into the sky,,,,but i got it anchored pretty good, once again my design. works perfect,,,,
the leaf is coming along nicelly. i got to build a lower frame to hang more. on. but today im gonna cook all the brown leaf. and remove the 3 stakes that has green leaf...and do a lot of picking... and get a lot more in there, i think i may use the camper as my official '' heating station '' and use the barn for the curing part,
..
im using 2 heat lamp bulbs to initially cure them with. just the right ammount of heat to where ive had no leaf dry green.
im also bunching the sticks up real tight to each other. as they dry.... ive got 30 sticks in there. about 40 leaves per stick,,, so ive got close if not more than 1,200 leaves in there hanging right now,
that browned bacca you see is a lot of leaves bunch real close. like one big breathable hand of bacca,,, that here real shortlly is gonna slowlly all day long reach the 130+ today,, and possiblly cook all weekend long 2 days of solid cooking,
