I didn't think I needed more at the moment but just came up with some ideas that may require 5 lbs of tobacco..

But you don't use molds.
I was thinking exactly that tonight! You are right!

But there is more than one reason I don't use them right now.
I never have time to smoke a 48rg stogie and my 44rg mold imparts a particular smell onto the tobacco that I'm not fond of.
I'm hoping a new 46rg mold will overcome both those challenges for me.
Of course I'd have to step up my consistency rather than lean on the ultra adaptable newspaper strip...

I requested a flying pig mold. I really don't need any more molds, but I couldn't turn that deal down.
I was wondering who was gonna snag that thing!

My timing was shitty: I just bought 5 lbs there like 3 weeks ago, as in this reveal vid:

Tobacco Leaf Delivery

But I said f-it, there's some leaf that's working for me, might as well go for the 2-years supply.

I have to confess that I've browsed through the mold photos that open this thread maybe 4 or 5 times. What fun! Some are just crazy. Some are staid and utilitarian. The 80 ring molds are hard to imagine filling with actual leaf (maybe 1/8 pound per stick). And those teeny figurados would be perfect for ligero-heavy blends. Regardless, they all highlight the breadth of size and shape choices in an otherwise cylinder-hobbled world.

Like Scrooge McDuck, who sits on the floor of his money vault, enjoying the sensation of 100 dollar bills drifting onto his head as he tosses more of them up into the air... I would just enjoy being in a room full of these molds. [Skip the landing on my head part of the analogy.]

The fun part is when somebody orders a size I've never had. Thanks in advance to the next person to do that.

Don

PS. The letter in front of the ring gauge is the difference between getting a straight cigar mold and a figurado.
