It is time to upgrade my pictures. Yesterday evening I watered my plants to be ready for morning shooting. Garden looks great after high temperatures last week. We have 30+(C.) for some time and today even 35 C. or more.
In the middle of tobacco bed are the biggest plants Virginia, Havana, Comstock spanish,...When I start two month ago with fertilizing I put on this place a lot of composted cow manure and I'm not shore now if I distributed it evenly on entire tobacco bed. It doesn't look so, or the other plants doesn't grow so fast. Behind the big tobacco bed I have beans and behind I have some shade grown tobaccos Dixie shade, Moonlight, Connecticut shade(left upper corner) I need to change those plants three times because snails eat them to the ground. I will wait for those two or three weeks longer.
I also find that Virginia Bright produce large amount of suckers. I believe that those are.
All plants start to grow quicker and I can see how they move. I just pray that storms won't bring any hail.
Here are some sorts of tobacco I grow and it's nice to see differences between strains.
Comstock Spanish
Dark Virginia
