That is a nice sizable list. What is the largest grow as far as the number of varieties?
For me, picking out just so many in variety just wasn't easy. I wonder what this one will taste like and that one. Oh, this one sounds like a winner. I wish I had that one... ETC... ROFL. Not easy.

Good luck with your grow.

Gary

This is a pretty big list, half of it I have little interest in other than seed. I'm sure I'll take some samples just because I can. My personal interest is in the Turkish, flue-cure, Maryland and Rustica.

Leverhead, you're doing a great service for the FTT members. 120 varieties, jeeeez. I thought I was crazy (I still do... but...) :D
One day minstrels will be singing songs about your grow out this year.

If you decide to upload photo of every one of these varieties, the server of this forum will crash!

I think you still have me beaten. you got started last year after I had everything started for my grow. ZZ Top can tell a good story, but I don't know how the Hot Chix are going to fit in.

That would be tobacco porn at it's best! Maybe we'll have to settle for a group photo.

22 varieties shouldn't be too bad. For me, it's the leaf count at harvest/curing time. Priming is time consuming, stalk-curing would make things simpler. The mythical 5 variety grow may never happen, there's too much to choose from.

Thanks! At the end of the season I may use other words to describe the list. I still haven't warmed up to cigars, that section of the list is all about the seed. I've been smoking a conventional pipe or the Hookah in the evenings, the dark tobacco will have some leaves harvested. The rest of the list will get air or Sun cured as I prime them. I've found out that I know a few Snus users, they may benefit from this. There will be no shortage of new things to try in blends.

What are they ? 5 evoked me the varieties in "Basma Luxe" blend which was my utopia. :)

I searched "+fewer+varieties" and got 260 hits, I don't think that I'm the only one that would like to grow only 5 varieties a year. "Basma Luxe" will return someday, I hope it's good. Do you think it should be without a filter?

Your plants look great Leverhead. Looks like you've got an A+ Technician there.
Sometimes I wish my big ones were little ones again. They grow fast too! One of them grew to 6'6", maybe more than that now.

Where's the white lab coat? Tell her Wile E. says howdy.

She outgrew it. I've already told her, she says "Beep Beep".

This is my Granddaughter and yes they grow too fast. She thinks Christmas was a long time ago, I'll let her keep thinking that for as long as she can. It wears me out, but I let her set the pace.
