The Arawak living on Hispañola were Taino. The term, Arawak, encompasses a much larger grouping of tribes, grouped by the language family (Arawakan).

This all sounds off the subject of tobacco, but it was the Taino of Hispañola who were first observed by Europeans to be "swallowing" the smoke of a weed burned within a hollow tube. "How remarkable."

You crack Me up! Were You refering to the Gurilla grow at the beach? Save the stalks to peel, for snus. Mad- Now? What to do with the root? Mad-

Would not think so Mad , I see stalks and perhaps stems aswell as leftover material.....
I just want to have the good stuff
Geurilla grow is having a second grow close to the beach , nothing fancy , its just there and will leave a minor contribution to the Burleyflour.
Roots are in the wastearea , bet the slugs are lickin them

You still got Me cracked up, All but the last slug thing. I took the leaf from the bud stems, where the flower stem emerges from the plant to the bud base. Small little guys, but very sticky and the smell is that of, fresh cut trims of spinach. They will be ready for the kiln next week. Tobacco plants are so amazing to Me, even after all the years. Hum? BT and DG are on fire this year, as with all of the folks on the grows. I look into the archives on site, and books cannot be made on the skills posted here. Just type in a word in the search, And bang- Everything follows. Now that is a breath of fresh air.. Mad-

Yes PO, I fold My baccy in a way that they fly when ready for the kiln, I got tiered of the back and forth motion on the drop to check for readiness befor they go into the kiln. I told You tobacco is fun.... That is the leaf trick that works. Mad-

I found a pod today on my GC-1 , being outthere turning the soil over/around.
Its the one on the left hand side infront of that flower.

But next year is a tabacumyear for me , haven't figured out yet if in 1 or 2 patches.
9-18 varieties.
I'm gonna write to that Govenor in India 'bout them seeds anyway.
