I went and bought me some cigars last night! just couldn`t take it any longer. So now I can also say I smoked a stick last night. I smoked a Villager Export, not a bad little cigar, BUT I cant wait for my tobacco to complete their cycle, so I can roll a few.

It does have a nice smooth, creamy center, but I bet your tobacco will taste better when it's finished :)

Congrats Hooligan, I hope you and the wife to be have a long happy life together.
Have you rolled a cigar for all the guys in your wedding party. They might enjoy that.

Congratulations Hooligan. Best of luck.

Today I smoked some rope that I made. I steamed some WLT dark air until nearly black, and made a rope, wrapping it in WLT dark fire cured. I let it rest 5 days.

I have some small perfectos that I rolled about a week ago. They are coming over in a little bit for a smoke and I will be pushing them. I'm loving the blend

It did have a kick, but not what I expected. I believe the steaming removed a lot of nicotine. It is a balanced blend, actually. Maybe next time, I'll add a layer of a sweet flue cured.

Water in any form can remove nicotine, but in the case with those two blends, it's good to hear you got a nice balanced blend!

Uppowoc Mataloto baby!

Mata Fina and Piloto Cubano, bound in Habano, wrapped in Habano, just one day old, with a Bohemia beer and a chocolate chip cookie. Tastes like a work of art. Wait until I roll a whole box of these rascals and age them properly. Next summer they're gonna be the best ever. Yer all invited over in July for a great smoke.

Uppowoc Perfecto Mataloto ... it's da bom.

Looks good webmost, and the mix with the beer and cookie makes it sound even better.

A small perfecto I smoked earlier on the way to Vegas. I think they can use a little more rest, but I'm enjoying them all the same. image.jpg

First cigar today was after lunch. I had 1 of my pyramids rolled with :
2-habano seco
1/3-leaf of darkfire
1-cirllio seco
one sucker binder and a broad leaf wrapper

I'm not sure yet if I am a fan of the Darkfire. I might have not found the right blend with it yet.

Maybe 1 or 2 leaves Habano Viso? Skip the one sucker binder, and use a broad leaf for the binder and San Andreas for the wrapper?

I haven't had time to try this yet, but this is the blend I'd be curious about:

1 Nic. Habano Viso
2 Criollo Viso
⅓ Dark Fire
Broadleaf Binder
San Andre's wrapper

I'd love to see someone beat me to this!
