Who does Dave. I even hate cold weather anymore, even when on the beach surf fishing. The cold goes right to my bones anymore. Ocean temps here are in the mid 40's still.

This is what I started this morning.
One of my Robustos, pressed in a Pvc tube. Very nice cigar, light and mild. Tobacco fermented for 3 weeks ( still in fridge) so I`m sure it will get even better.
Dom Olor- Ligero. Vuelta Abajo- viso. La Palma- Seco. Penn B Leaf- Binder.Wrapper Bezuki.
Sorry the photo is not to good, was a bit dark this morning, no flash on cell phone.
Have a good weekend all.

I just had a stick made from the oscuro y rico kit but with a Brasilian wrapper, about 9 days in teh box. Holy hell it was incredible! Probably one of my fave homerolled sticks yet; very similar to a Warped El Oso or Illusione 888 maduro or even a MUWAT.

Well it was last night, but I got to smoke a stick finally after 5 days of nothing. Had a nasty cold / flu. Haven't had one of those in years it seems like.
I had an appitite to eat, but smoking tobacco just seemed like a waste since I couldn't taste anything..

The stick was one of my #7H and it was a good one. great draw, no burn issues.

Hope everyone else is having a great week.

Rolled 5 yesterday which all await wrapper.
Blend is -
1/2 mata fina
1 each Nic Habano viso, seco and Piloto Cubano viso,
binder is Aleman Oscuro
wrapped in Ecuador Maduro

I'm thinking this will be an incredibly rich yet medium blend . Not sure how long I can wait after wrapping to let em sit to marry .

But yesterdays smoke was a Blend 2 Southbound

Pulled out one of my first perfectos with the 2014 Sabroso Medio blend after dinner and sat out on the front porch . Been sitting in the humi since last fall. A little tight draw but burned straight as a razor . I got halfway down the stick with a perfect ash hanging and then it fell off :(

My favorite CIG blend so far, and which will never be able to duplicate.

All my late harvest leaf was color cured together with no regard for variety, since leaf quality was not great and there was not much of each type. This was piled into a 16gal tote and kilned, and got about 4 months rest before it was shredded a couple weeks ago. Just a random sampling of a bunch of different types, but has a wonderful taste and aroma.
