The tobacco looks mostly black, is it very heavy with Latakia? Thanks for posting tobacco pictures, the blend names mean nothing to me without them.

Opened a tin of some stuff I purchased about a year ago. Had never tried before.

Drew Estate Toasted Black Cavendish in a Big Ben Cambridge 005.
Very tasty. The aromatic carried over to the flavor of the burn.

Well not so much what I smoked today, but covering the weekend.
I got this in on Friday in the mail.

Over the weekend I had a few bowls of Carter Hall to get it primed. Nice cool smoke.

Also got a few tins in. One I had wanted to try for some time was the SG Squadron Leader.
I have to say I did like this one alot. Smoked it in the Big Ben Cambridge.

This kind of pipe holder can keep safe your briar pipe,your heavy meerschaum pipe even your gourd calabash, no slip problems at all.

Hello! Matches first as a part of tradition but sometimes due to the situation a begin with a butane lighter.In windy situations [as in a Cafe in the country] i use zippo and i have a torch lighter as a back-up.
