The last pipe I made, about two years ago. Briar stummel, Cumberland stem, brass whatchamacallit.

I smoked a bowl of the lower leaves of this year's crop of Symbol 4 which had been in the kiln for one week. It was mild, comparable to a Canadian cigarette flavour with a little sweetness and a bit of needs-some-aging funk. It was smooth, and i have high hopes for the upper leaves.

Just got a package in from 4noggins.
Had heard about the bald headed teacher blend, so got their sampler that included it.
Smoked that last night in MM Cob.

Pleasant smoke, smooth and no bite. Enjoyed it very much.

Yes has virginia plus latakia but not an aroma inside for example a fruit. It's a very nice tobacco,of course don't expect something "unique" but isn't strong in Latakia so you can smoke him to see if Latakia is for you.If you already are a fan then it's very pleasant in the morning or late at night,isn't heavy and the room note isn't strong.The cut is fine,the tin seals properly,the virginia isn't much [that's good for me] so....go ahead make a try.
