I WONT BE GROWING NOTHING EXEPT WHAT I PLAN TO BLEND IN MY CIGG'S. NO CIGAR'S HERE,

thus the reason i included it in the title,
this year i'll be growing

burley
TN-90
KELLEY
GREEN BRIOR
BURLEY 204
KELLER

..MIXING BACCA'S

MARYLAND 609
BIG-GEM
OTTOMAN
BURSA
Y.T.B.
BRIGHT LEAF
LIZARD-TAIL
SILVER-RIVER.

........................................................

IM CURRENTLLY MAKING THE AREA BIGGER, ive allready threw out a 3-8-24 tobacco fertilizer, im stockpiling cow/horsepoop, to fortify each hole with, i'll be starting the seeds, using floating trays but not floating them, just using them with potting soil and a top layer of vermiculite,

the starting room is powered by 2.....400 watt h.i.d. lights, and when the plants reach a certain height, i have numerous 4'' pots to transplant them in,

im hoping to put them in the ground around april. allthough with the starting room, set up the way it is, i can wait much longer than april if need be, but usaully in my area april 1'st is safe to plant in, the starting room will double as my kiln when the time is right, then it will be powered by 2 crock-pot's, and a radiator type heater, all hooked up to a temp/humidity control panel, for exact temp's and humidity,

the area, march i plan on starting the seed's.

>im mainlly going to grow burley only in this spot

Nice plans. I should note that Keller is a Maryland type, used in both cigarettes and cigars. Mine kilned to a light brown, mildly nutty flavored leaf with fairly low nicotine. No cigar taste. You'll probably get more punch to it than I did, with your fertilization.

thanks for that info. i was thinking it may have been a mis-spelling and they were both kelley/keller seeds, the same seed just mis-spelled,

i'll be growing a lot of new varities this year, burley's that ive never grown before, but sampled the finished product and liked them,

wish I had that much nice area and wonderful looking soil to work with. I figure your location should put your grow schedule a few weeks ahead of mine so as a first time grower I will be following along closely and trying to keep up. Enjoyed watching many people's progress last season but found out about "grow your own" too late in the season to participate.

You got that right. It's a beast. Reminds me of my dads old Troy Built. I envy Chicken but I takes a real man to handle the old ones.

My SISTER has a tiller almost just like Chicken's, except the tines are in the rear. SHE does all her own tilling/planting.

I had one of them old Gibson's from the early 70s. After 4hrs. it felt like somebody had hit you in the head with a tire tool.If you could keep it runin that long.I love old stuff. But my clay dirt would kill an old tiller an me to.I wish I had that sandy dirt.
