Noticed a brown beetle on my plant squished Him but I think he may of left this unless it is now diseased any tips?

Looks like frost damage to me.

Small light brown with a long snout

This is the critter says they feed on leaves stems and plants I thought maybe he carried a mosiac disease or something so I pulled the leaves squished him and separated the plant
