I am sad to say, I have been in a no smoke time lately. Been so busy with end of year stuff.
Someones got to smoke one for me, or I may go nuts.
Hope to have some time just after Christmas.

Tried AZD's suggestion
2 San Vincente' Liguero
2 Corojo Viso*
2 Criollo Viso
I did a double Bind/Wrap with the Corojo Oscuro I saved back.

but wrapped in corojo seco, since i have no CO leaf. creamy and smooth, big nic hit!

rolled a couple:
1.5 nic habano seco
1 nic habano ligaro
1 san vincte ligaro
bound in nic habano seco
wrapped in CT shade

put 'em in a box, i think i'll try one after turkey dinner this friday.

Hmm, I have those tobaccos on hand, how did it smoke??? I'll roll a couple today. I've been wondering how to incorporate the Piloto tobaccos. I just don't have any Cameroon on hand, you have any suggestions on a replacement?

Unfortunately there is no replacement for Cameroon, it is a very unique tobacco in it flavor and usually very toothy.

I gave the boys some home rolled cigars, and some homegrown pipe blends for Christmas. I was also given a cigar in return. Gonna smoke this now on my Christmas Eve night shift. It's a Burlington on Whyte "X", it's got Latakia in it and it's well done.

La Aurora Untamed robusto...hands down one of the best store boughts I've ever had . Very smooth and creamy cocoa notes (supposed to have citrus and peppery notes but I didn't get any of that). Very long smoke for a robusto . One of their strongest ever made in 100 yrs. On the top of my re-buy list .

Smoking 2 box pressed cigars I rolled with Piloto tobacco's, Almen Ligero, and meta Fina in them. What a treat these are.

Had one my short filler corona`s last night. Anything from Vualta, Dom Olor Criollo 98, La Palma, Penn or Conn B Leaf in it. Used a mixture of off-cuts when making cigars. Penn B Leaf binder and a light Long red wrapper.

Just finished a Kentucky Cheroot ... quick, tasty and strong.

I cut them in half for a better draw as well as a shorter smoke and it works perfectly.

Broke down and smoked one of the hundred store boughts I won in the cigar lottery at cigar.com. Nothing extravagant -- a Cusano Couvee Rouge (translates "red barrel"). Very nice cigar. I'd be glad to blend as good as that. But here's the prob: Once again, the store bought went out less than halfway thru. This just happens all the damn time to me. Store boughts don't want to stay lit in our super wet weather. And of course, they never re-light worth a crap. I even tried cutting way back behind the hard plug that solidifies at the foot. Didn't help. Re-lights taste awful.

Well-aged home mades don't do this to me.

Looks very good Ben! I enjoy a short fill as they are often full of surprises and not to be under estimated...

Experiment today. I made a cheroot with about 50/50 Nicaragua Habano viso and Latakia filler. Pennsylvania oscuro binder as binder and wrapper. Smoking it already. It's a little sweet and sour in a mild way. I think it needs some ligero or less Latakia.
