the seeds are getting a good size, all my BRIGHT LEAF [ thanks to knucklehead for sending them to me ]

are ready to come out of the seed trays, and be placed in thier individual cups, [ maybe doing that today ]

this year im gonna use herbicide between the rows to prevent weeds, [ it's tobacco safe ]

i have a good sized curing room, and last year i could have put more hands in there,,,, THIS YEAR WE ARE GOING TO FILL IT!!!!!

not to mention the ground, is about as good as it can get this year, 2 years ago i added CHICKEN-MANURE, you can tell where the corn is growing, the 3 rows that are virgin ground [ no manure ] the corn is weaker than the other rows,

a new tiller go for 600 - 900 in most shops and for a tool that is only used once or twice a year and to keep down weeds after. a used tiller that can take care of that size of area is worth it

Hi Chicken that's a mighty fine looking plot there. I like the weed block I will be doing the same this year. I see you also have side sheeting is that for wind protection or just to keep it segregated.*

if you plant each year,,,,,, then yes, one of them would be benificial. or you can rent one, or borrow one,

the side sheeting is ,,, so my dog's and chickens will stay out of my plot, i got 40' tall cedar trees, lining my planting area, for a windblock.

Chicken you ain't supposed to post pictures of those five leaved plants on the web you never know who's lookin! LOL. I been wondering why I hadn't seen your blog on my settings and I forgot to follow the new one. It looks like your gonna have a massive patch again this year. I hope the weather holds for you, because it sure is a soupy start for me, and raining right now.

I don't think I have seen a redder comb on a rooster than Devil's :)
Like your greenhouse but I couldnt make one like that here due to constant wind. The A frame part yes but the legs would be a no-no

Chicken I have a BIG old yellow buff about 12 lb. with 2-1/2" spurs if you'd like your woman to feel more comfortable you could bring devil on up we could make some money and have some fun and get rid of him, all at the same time.
