@mbatini Nice work. In prep for filler, I will case up past (over case) assembly case to flatten/get the kinks out/sort so as to prevent crumbling. Then, case down to the proper assembly case level (still pliable and not to wet) to create the consistent bunch density to bind.
Let the doll dry to a level before wrapping.
Thanks @MarcL; if I understand correctly your hints, it's the preparation stage that needs attention and work. Is this the reason why we see those vids on master torcedores that have perfectly laid down leaves, pliable and can make nice tubes with them?

Aha! Filler prep: case up, lay down and iron them! Case down to a point where tubing is feasible without producing dust.
Double binder helps in reaching a compact stick especially with that thin Sumatra binder.
Let them sleep in the mold. I do not have to reach my quota so it's ok to 'use' more time.
Wrapping: breaking a lot of strips and pushing a little bit more the doll over the veins.
Also the distribution starts to get better (subjective opinion but I am the customer :) )
Great hints from @MarcL and all the members.

I don't roll more than a few cigars during the winter months. Though I've never developed a "delicate" touch in rolling, it always takes me a few weeks to again guestimate the actual thickness of a cigar that I'm about to roll. This one was about 30% fatter than I had intended. (Quel dommage.)

Wrapper: WLT Cameroon
Binder: mystery scraps from months ago
Filler: 1 leaf WLT Pelo d'Oro ligero and 2 leaves of home-grown Corojo 99.
Hat: WLT claro

The sky is blue, and the temp sits at 70°F, with a light breeze. I haven't shaved for a couple of days (maybe tonight or tomorrow). I haven't cut my hair in months. I'm pairing my cigar with a huge mug of cold well water, while I listen to the chirping birds, and watch them celebrate a lovely day.
