Tossed together 12 the last few days. 8 on the left are 50 rng and the 4 on the right are 43 rng. Blend details below.

I sometimes ponder on different “store bought” cigars I’ve had in the past. One that stuck with me was the Futuro by Warped Cigars. Loved that blend! So, did a little research on the web and kinda remixed it up…. With leaf on hand. May take some tweaking and have a potential 2nd variation jotted down. Of course it won’t taste like the Futuro, but may come out more memorable than it.… we will see. ;-)

Blend: “El Pasado”
W: Nicaraguan Criollo ‘98
B: Nicaraguan
F: 1x Dominican Corojo ‘99 Ligero
1x Dominican Corojo ‘99 Viso
1x Dominican Criollo ‘98 Seco

Riding out the cold front in AZ today while the rib roast cooked.

Got my order of beautiful tobacco from @BigBonner the other day. Rolled a Bob cigar out of the PA filler.

Smoked excellent. Very mild, burned great, and had a unique “sweet” taste that was fleeting and only on the draw. I think it would go great with some wlt Nicaraguan.

Your cigars always look so good I feel like I should be able to smell them through the pictures you post!
Much appreciation @Plinsc ! That isn’t always the case brother! Some days I get frustrated and think I’m crazy. Lol.

These were put in molds to help form them. When I free hand roll and paper strip mold others, it’s getting better, but still can get the lumps in them. It’s practice, practice, practice just about every day here. From time to time as well, I go back to old forum posts for tips and tricks I may have forgotten from initially reading posts. Also, implementing any advice received… as long as it’s sound advice that I feel like it can work for me and the way I go about it.

If you haven't watched this cigar-rolling video, by @rainmax, it's still the best there is anywhere.

I started rolling cigars early this month and feel I’ve been improving steadily. I’ve rolled maybe 30 total so far. Here are a handful of my recent rolls.

Wrappers from left (top) to right (bottom), in groups:
Los Rios (3), Sumatra (1), Cameroon (2), Maduro (3), Habano Oscuro (3)

I am a huge fan of skinnies, as might be obvious here. These range from roughly 32 rg up to about 44. I’m focusing on learning to roll panetelas right now and I’ve been using paper molds and trying different blend combos.

I’m having a lot of fun with this, and actually find I am smoking a lot less because I’m enjoying it so much and I don’t smoke inside (where I roll).

No need to be sorry. I'm delighted that you posted your home-rolled stogies. [I've read every post on this forum, since it began in 2011, and yet I have trouble locating things.] The issue with the Pic of Your Sticks threads is that I had been starting a new one every few years, for server-related efficiency issues. Over the past several years, other members have started a new Pics thread each year. That's fine, though it does tend to orphan posts that are only a few days to a few months old.

The current Pics thread is:
