I think of that shape there as more of a salomon than an imperfecto. If you've seen my salomon wrapping vid then you know I once upon a time had a very complex way of wrapping those.

Yeah, fair enough. This one was smaller, like 14-15cm (5 1/2") and had a LFD knock off chisel tip, so it was a Frankenstein's imperfecto, haha.

Edit: I have seen your salomon video; it was likely that and some of @MarcL's work that inspired me to give it a try sans ropes, so to speak.

I grabbed 4 leaves from the top of a bag of my 2019 Corojo 99. I used the darkest of them as wrapper and as a binder, the others as filler.

A nice match to the Candela is the Vuelta Abajo binder but because I'm not a fan of the Candela lip I get I caped it with the buttery Brazil CT shade.
All three of the CV PA pimmings surround a core of ASP Nicaragua Ligero.

I enjoyed another one from the archives today. KFC binder and Corojo seco and ligero. Wrapped in Ecuador Cameroon and rolled to a corona-like vitola. The Kentucky fire binder definitely behaves better after a few months acclimation in the humidor. The burn only started to go wonky near the head where there is more binder material. The mapley aroma of my particular batch of fire cured came through nicely.

Nice! Did they get custom made or are you able to print them? Good looking bands like those are on my radar myself.
