I don’t remember what went into this but it sure turned out interesting. It started out redolent of black pepper and peat and an inch down mellowed to almost anaesthetic sensation not unlike Sichuan peppercorn with smattering of vanilla and plum. I think I used ASP ligero because it is venomously high in nicotine coupled with the Equador corona wrapper. I hope I make it through the whole thing. I’m going to do some digging through my notes because I think this is a recipe worth dialing in. (Unlike many I come up with that are more like ‘phoned in’)6ED1598E-D5F9-42FE-82B3-D66ED7BB8373.jpeg

Nice! That sounds like a nice 1-2 punch with the Ecuador Corona+ ASP. Interesting flavor profiles you got out of it @Snowblithe

I do like it alot and its nice to work due to the stretch. its weird. it feels like velvet.

Outstanding to hear! I’ve made things a little difficult to start and have been wrapping with that Brazil CT 2013 more so as of late. Fantastic wrapper, but also excited to get into some not as elegant/ temperamental wrappers for these bound up sticks. Lol.

I’ll continue the trend and say it’s been a while. On the left is a miniature of what I think is the recipe I used in the last photo I posted. Long filler ASP ligero, Nic. Habano Viso, Corojo 2006 seco, binder is a scrap I think is dark fire cured, wrapper is Eq. Corona.
The middle is just a short scrap random thing.
The right is a fire cured wrapper-binder with a mix of scrap tails and scrap fire cured tobaccos.
Not the most pulchritudinous to a perfectionist but I only occasionally dabble in that particular neurosis. DCF5BBDD-1B06-4D4A-A8C9-F1BE03A88568.jpeg

Finally found a better strength to my blend.
Filler: 1/3 corillo Seco, 1/3 Habano viso, 1/3 Peru ligero
Binder: Sumatra
Wrapper: Ecuadorian los rios

probably needed a little more time in the humidor but I really wanted to try the blend.7513AFFB-CFC0-4C0E-91A0-90DF3A9EE5A4.jpeg

These are from my second group of rolling. They are 5.5 x 44. I wanted to focus on practicing my technique without obsessing over making a good blend. I'm pretty happy but still noticed a couple soft spots after I was done.
Edit:
Wrapper: Aged Pennsylvania Broadleaf
Binder: CT 2LS Broadleaf
Filler: Aged Dominican Ligero, Aged Nicaraguan Seco
