This medium-strength cigar provides an aroma part-way between a Caribbean-style cigar and a broadleaf cigar. I think it would be a bit too hefty with a darker wrapper. (Swarr-Hibshman is a Pennsylvania broadleaf variety, similar in characteristics to Glessnor.)

I thought this was neat: two photos, one is through a polarized lens, the other is not. The wrapper is Equador Maduro, I think.

I rolled this last night, and allowed it to age and meld and mature overnight--since it was raining too hard to sit on the porch and smoke it. The elegant shape is the result of following the lay of the land, after careless bunching.

I swung by the post office on my way out of town for my one week domestic vacation. The post office provided me with 6 lbs (plus samples) of WLT. This here is 0.5 Paraguay ligero, 1 Criollo 98 viso, 1 Nicaragua habano seco, bound and wrapped with Habano 2000.

Thanks, and its really tasty. It is one of the WLT blends: Azucarado Oscuro. A little sweet, a little spice, not too punchy, not too mild. Good blend

I like how rustic and ‘toothy’ the San Andres wrapper looks. Here’s a few iterations with mostly corojo fillers.

Well, back to the studio, and tonight was able to wrap these four dolls.
Hopefully fill the mold tomorrow after our departments 9/11 remembrance.

I made a few cheroots this morning. I had a bag of fully cased and cut to shape Kentucky fire cured wraps which makes rolling these more efficient and enjoyable. The size of the stick is entirely dependent on the dimensions of the wrapper I happen to pull from the bag, which is determined by my decisions in processing the whole leaf, which is determined by how much hole and tear dodging I have to do. Long thin wrappers become long thin sticks, etc.
