I've bought a bunch of vintage/deadstock bands, these I believe were from a come-and-gone brand somewhere around the 1950's. Just an extra layer within the hobby for me.

Looking good. Late hour is a great smoke. Did you nail the blend?
I’ll keep you updated! Haven’t tried yet. Just finished adding wrappers to them a few minutes ago. Dropped some off to a buddy earlier to start testing the blends out.
Plastic molded sticks on the left and center. Right side are paper strip molded. I’ve been tending to roll up a few extra than what fits in the plastic mold to keep my hands honest. Lol.

Bunch last night, wrap and finish this morning.
4 different blends with Domincan Ligero, Nic Seco, T13 Viso, Vuelta Abajo binder, and a Cameroon wrapper from L.O. which I would not recommend... Not a good wrapper. Tastes good, just extremely finicky and temperamental...

Happy Friday! First batch of 30 bound up! Time to change up the binder, keep the same filler ratios, and bind up 30 more. This 60 stick total batch will then have 5 different wrappers to find a couple more variations to this binder/filler blend.

36x6 Mexican San Andres puros. First time withWLT Mex SanAndres, much different smell than other San Andres available, rolled with LO and TLS San Andres and those are identical, but this must be from a. different farm, greater tensile strength, crazier smell and a tad darker. I like what I'm rolling with so far!

50% Ligero, 25% Viso, 25% home grown Lancaster. Sprinkle of red Va beerique. Double Besuki wrapper. Flavor is mild but complex. Nicotine is full.

Definitely been getting in some sleep and good food! Looking forward to breaking out the grill here this week! Since I ruptured my Achilles’ tendon at the end of November, I’ve been working from my home office. This will soon change within the next month or so. I like to use the beginning & end of my days to unwind by binding or wrapping up some sticks. I’m thankful that my lady hasn’t gone crazy yet! Lol. Also, just ordered some seeds… may have a grow blog soon… fingers crossed.
Just finished wrapping up these babies with some Mexican San Andres wrapper. Still need to get consistent with the “heads” & not letting those dang wrinkles be a nuisance while wrapping. Little by little, every day practice, makes perfect!
